Is InventoryAI live today?
The core platform — inventory, billing, purchasing, accounting, GST e-invoicing, reports and an AI-assisted catalog — is built and running. We are in early access, onboarding our first customers personally with free concierge data migration. Join the waitlist and we will reply within one business day.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
Your data lives in Google Cloud’s Mumbai region (asia-south1) and never leaves India. Every tenant is isolated at the database level with row-level security — no other business can ever see your data. You also get DPDP Act 2023 rights built in: export, correction and erasure on request.
Does it generate GST e-invoices (IRN)?
Yes. E-invoices with IRN are generated at billing time via configured IRP partners, including cancellation and retry handling. Month-end, you export GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B files for your CA. HSN mapping, place-of-supply and CGST/SGST/IGST determination are automatic.
How do I move from Tally, Marg or Excel?
Two ways: upload Excel/CSV files using our templates — with smart duplicate detection, so re-uploads are always safe — or let us do it. Founding customers get concierge migration where we import your products, suppliers, customers and opening stock for you.
What does the AI actually do today?
It keeps your catalog clean: when a new product is added, AI (powered by Claude) suggests the category, HSN code and attributes with a confidence score, and anything uncertain waits in a review queue for a human — AI never edits your books alone. Per-tenant AI budgets and usage tracking are built in. Conversational reports, photo-to-products import, WhatsApp delivery and demand forecasting are on the roadmap — we label those clearly.
Does it work when the internet is slow?
The mobile POS is offline-first: your counter staff keep billing on a phone, and sales sync automatically when the connection returns. The main web dashboard needs an internet connection.
How many outlets and users can I have?
Plans scale from one shop and one user (Free) up to unlimited outlets on the Business plan. Multi-warehouse stock tracking and transfers are built into the platform, and roles (Owner, Cashier, Accountant) keep staff access scoped.
Is there a free plan?
